The speech material used here contains dialogues spoken by 38 native speakers of French (10 pairs of female and 9 pairs of male students living in Paris). They were asked to simulate phone call conversations in the forms of role-plays of a request-refusal type. The total duration of the recordings is 95 minutes with a mean duration of 2.5 minutes for each conversation.
