Description

This utility was developed with the help of the Ukelele package. It allows typing a text directly in SAMPA (the ASCII encoding for IPA) and getting it converted to IPA in a word processor. This version only works under MacOS X with a French keyboard. Still, if anyone needs (a few) further developments I can take care of them or I will give instructions for doing them. Everything is explained in the lisez-moi!.pdf file. Today the IPA font recommended by SIL is Unicode CharisSIL4 that may be downloaded from: http://scripts.sil.org/CharisSILfont
